Terms and Conditions of Employment

By signing this contract, employee understands policies, bylaws and adminstrative regulations of Fresno Unified School District are part of this contract.

  1. I will perform these duties outside of my regular workday, or during the summer session. This assignment is in addition to my regular duties. I am not to perform duties required by the contract while I am obligated to render the same or similar services to the District as a regular employee or under another extra pay or supplemental services contract. To do so would be a material breach of this contract and require disciplinary action.
  2. This agreement is conditional for the period shown and salary stated above. In addition to the amount stated, the contracting department will be responsible for any applicable employee charges. No guarantee of number of days to work is implied by this contract. Payment will be made only for actual hours or days worked. The District, in its absolute and sole discretion, may unilaterally terminate this agreement at any time for any reason including, but not limited to, lack of sufficient student enrollment, lack of acceptable facilities and/or lack of financial or other resources.
  3. This contract does not imply continued employment or accrual of service toward tenure. Personnel employed in non-certificated positions shall be short-term employees pursuant to the provisions of the Education Code Sec. 45103.
  4. Pay warrants will be issued on the last working day of each month. One-time payments will be paid on the last working day of the month in which the contract is completed.
  5. This agreement is not to be considered a final contract until all designated parties and Human Resources have signified their approval with their signature.
